Denis Dupont to make TCR International debut at Zhejiang

Belgian driver Denis Dupont will make his TCR International Series debut at the next round at Zhejiang, driving a SEAT León run by Comtoyou Racing.

Dupont, who is a race winner in the TCR Benelux series where he races with Team WRT with support from RACB, will make his debut on the world stage at the new Chinese circuit, teaming up with Stefano Comini and Frédéric Vervisch.

“Racing in the International Series is a project I have worked on for a few months and I’m pleased that, with support from my partners and Comtoyou Racing, I am given the opportunity to race in China,” said Dupont.

“I am very happy to drive a SEAT León, because I know it well. This will help me a lot, as I won’t have the opportunity to test the car I will drive in Zhejiang, and being familiar with the car will let me focus on getting to know the track.”
