Stefano Comini to race a Top Run Subaru WRX STi

Stefano Comini will make his TCR Italy Touring Car Championship debut next weekend at Imola, driving for Top Run Motorsport in their Subaru WRX STi TCR.

The two-time TCR International Series champion will swap from his Comtoyou Racing Audi RS 3 LMS from the weekend before at the Buriram International Circuit in Thailand, to take over the Japanese car built by the Italian team at the Imola circuit.

“I live a few miles from Top Run’s base and we often meet,” said Comini to motorsport.com.

“I really believe in the project that Top Run has set up with Subaru. I know very well the builders of the car and I think it’s a beautiful and competitive product. Of course, I will have to sit behind the wheel and understand how to compete with it at Imola, a track I know well and on which I won last year.”
