Six TCR Thailand cars added to the International Series grid this weekend
The TCR International Series grid will benefit from the addition of entries from the TCR Thailand series again this year, with six cars added to the bill at the Buriram International Circuit.
There will be an additional four SEAT Leóns and two Honda Civics run by teams from the TCR Thailand series.
RMI Racing Team by Sunoco will run a SEAT León TCR for Parisat Promsombat, who is the current leader in TCR Thailand’s Pro class this year, while Yontrakit Racing Team will run an older DSG-equipped SEAT León for Rattanin Leenutaphong. Malaysian driver Douglas Khoo will enter in his SEAT León TCR, run by Viper Niza Racing, while Moring Racing will run a SEAT for Nattanid
Lewattanavaragul, the first female driver to win a TCR series race at the Bangsaen street race, when the series ran with the TCR Asia series.
The two Hondas are run by Billionaire Boys Racing and TBN MK Ihere Racing for Chariya Nuya and Nattachak Hanjitkasen respectively. Billionaire Boys Racing had a successful race weekend last year, running a Civic for Kantadhee Kusiri, who was right in the mix with the International Series regulars, and is now racing in the TCR Asia series, where he’s the current championship leader.
