Four-day Macau schedule confirmed for the WTCC
The schedule for the World Touring Car Championship race weekend at Macau has been confirmed, with the event running over four days.
Free practice will start on Thursday, with qualifying and the MAC3 time trial on Friday. The first race is on Saturday, in a break with tradition, where the touring car races both took place previously on Sunday morning.
The second race of the weekend will take place on Sunday at 10:40.
2017 marks the return of the WTCC to Macau, with the last race on the challenging street circuit in 2014. This year, the race holds the penultimate race of the season, with Losail in Qatar hosting the season finale two weeks’ later.
