Honda gain weight while SEAT and Volkswagen get lighter in BoP adjustment

The Balance of Performance weights for all TCR series have been adjusted by the TCR technical department, with Honda gaining weight while SEAT and Volkswagen both lose weight.

The changes are based on the results from all TCR series, with the Honda Civic TCR 2017 cars gaining 10kg to a total of 1,325kg.

The current specification SEAT León TCR will now run with 10kg of weight over the base weight, running at 1,285kg.

The older León V2 with the sequential gearbox, the León V3 with DSG gearbox and the Golf 2017 will run with no ballast, at the base weigth of 1,275kg.

The León V2 with the DSG, the León Cup Racer and the Golf 2016 may run at -10kg to base weight.

The changes come into effect immediately, with the TCR International Series and TCR Italy series both competing this weekend with the new adjustments.
