Pepe Oriola to race in the TCR Benelux series this weekend

Pepe Oriola will make his debut in the TCR Benelux series this weekend at the wheel of a SEAT León, run by Ferry Monster Autosport.

The Spaniard will share the car with Dutch driver Danny Kroes, competing in a format which is also new for Oriola: “I’m grateful to Lukoil and Craft-Bamboo for allowing me to take part in this race. I’m looking forward to helping a young driver such as Danny Kroes, because I was also helped when I was his age. He’s just 17, but has a great potential and, with SEAT Sport’s support, I’m sure we will do well on the track.”

“The TCR Benelux competition format is different than in the International Series, and this will be my first time in Zandvoort, but I’m not worried. It’s going to be a great challenge to compete with so many other promising drivers. I hope to contribute to Danny Kroes and the team being as high up as possible in the classification in Sunday’s sprint races”, added Oriola.
