Jason Bright leaves Brad Jones Racing

Jason Bright has announced that he is leaving Brad Jones Racing after the 2016 V8 Supercars season.

“I never thought I would drive for a team for seven years straight but BJR has made my time here a very satisfying chapter in my Supercar career,” said Bright.

While not revealing details, Bright has indicated that he will remain in the V8 Supercars for 2017.

“I will have to be careful not to pull into the wrong bay for a pit stop next season, and in case I do, I hope they can change my tyres,” said Bright.

Brad Jones Racing will announce their replacement for Bright shortly, with rumours pointing at Nick Percat.
