Lestrup Racing Team tease car for 2017 season

Lestrup Racing Team, headed by former STCC driver and reigning DTC champion Fredrik Lestrup, has teased a car for a rumoured entry to the 2017 Scandinavian Touring Car Championship.

The team is according to information to TouringCarTimes set to enter a Volkswagen Golf TCR for a young driver that took part in STCC support class Clio Cup this year.

Lestrup, who secured the 2015 DTC (then named ADAC Procar) title, is reported to be stepping down as driver and instead taking the role of team-manager.

This entry would be the fourth confirmed for the 2017 STCC season alongside the three SEATs of Dealer Team PWR Racing.
