Opel Astra TCR hit by latest balance of performance measures

The Opel Astra TCR will lose power and gain weight for the Singapore weekend.

Pierre-Yves Corthals’ win at Jerez de la Frontera last weekend pushed the technical department to increase the Astra’s weight by 10kg compared to the last bulletin, which means the German car will weigh the same as the SEAT León TCR and the Honda Civic TCR. The power of the car has also been limited to 95%.

The bulletin also includes the new FRD Motorsport Ford Focus TCR, which will be on the minimum weight of 1,285 kg. The presence of the Focus, which is a new model, allows the technical department to make further adjustments to the balance of performance throughout the weekend.
