James Nash satisfied with third despite lack of testing
James Nash made it to the top three in his first TCR International Series Qualifying, completing a SEAT 1-2-3 for Craft-Bamboo Lukoil.
The Brit is satisfied with the result, also taking into consideration the limited track time in Bahrain: “I’m very happy, it’s two years I haven’t been racing in touring cars, and need to readjust a bit. The car feels great, and qualifying was about who would do the fewest mistakes, given that nobody has had the opportunity to test a lot.”
Nash will focus on getting to the chequered flag rather than taking risks: “For the races, we’ll see, the championship is about points, so it’s important to finish and take points.”
The former WTCC race winner will start from third in tonight’s race.
