The Neil Tozer Trophy award winners of 2015 are…

The winners of the 2015 Neil Tozer Trophy, organised by TouringCarTimes and PSP Images, have been chosen and the two winners received their trophies at the Donington Collection earlier this week.

The winners were chosen from a vast array of high quality entries across the year by Neil’s family, TouringCarTimes staff and PSP Images owner Peter Still.

The 2015 professional category was won by Matt Sayle, capturing the Ford Focus of AMD at Oulton Park:

“It’s mint to win an award for best professional image with there being such talent in the BTCC media room with the likes of Andrew Soul, Scott Mitchell, etc. A big thanks must go to Jakob Ebrey and Speedworks for looking after me. Yeah, very chuffed indeed!” said Sayle.

The 2015 amateur category was won by Chris Drewery, capturing three cars abreast at Silverstone:

“Amazing! I obviously entered hoping to win, but really surprised that I did win as I was up against stiff competition. I can’t wait to go trackside as part of my prize!” said Drewery.

The Trophy was created by PSP Images and TouringCarTimes in memory of our colleague Neil Tozer, a photographer who had worked with us for the past five years, who passed away suddenly just one week after the 2013 British Touring Car Championship finale.

The Trophy was set-up in coordination with Neil’s family and featured two categories: One for professional photographers and one for amateurs, with a £200 cash prize for the professional category winner and a £150 prize for the amateur winner, which includes a day trackside working with PSP Images in 2015.

We would like to extend our thanks to everyone who entered the trophy, with a lot of high quality work submitted this year.
