Eight V8 Supercars drivers to compete in Bathurst 12 hours

At least eight V8 Supercars drivers will be on the grid for the Bathurst 12 Hour GT race in February next year.

This year’s V8 Supercars runner-up Craig Lowndes will drive an Audi R8 with Holden Racing Team rival Garth Tander at Audi Customer Sport / JAMEC-Pem Racing.

Volvo Polestar Racing driver Scott McLaughlin will pair up with 2015 Le Mans winner Earl Bamber in a Porsche 911 at Grove Racing.

Tim Slade, who will drive for Brad Jones Racing next year, will drive a McLaren 650S for Objective Racing, joined by Holden Racing Team endurance driver Warren Luff.

Nick Percat will make his Bathurst 12 Hour debut in a Lamborghini Gallardo with Peter Rullo. Dale Wood and Prodrive Racing Australia co-driver Steve Owen will also be behind the wheel of a Lamborghini in this race.

The 2016 Bathurst 12 Hours, held on February 5-7th, will feature a large field of GT cars and teams from Audi, Bentley, Ferrari, McLaren, Mercedes Benz and Nissan.
