Team bosses set new timetable for today in Oschersleben

Conditions in Motorsport Arena Oschersleben continue to be difficult, due to the thick fog still present at the track. The organisation has released a new timetable, which delays the whole program.

The fog is causing a very reduced visibily, which not only difficults racing, but also grounds the medical helicopter, making it impossible to meet the safety standards.

Team bosses met at 10:00 CEST to discuss the situation. A reduced second free practice session was on the menu to avoid delaying the start of the race, due to the TV broadcasting commitments.

Finally, a new timetable for the day has been decided, which will run as follows:

– 10:45: Free Practice 2.

– 12:00: Qualifying for Race1.

– 14:55: Race 1 (40 minutes plus one lap).

The new agenda will allow only 30 minutes between the end of the second free practice and the beginning of the qualifying session for Race 1.
