Matt Neal keeps win from Donington Park race three
Honda Racing Team’s Matt Neal has kept his win from the third race at Donington Park, after stewards rejected a protest from Triple Eight Racing.
The factory MG squad argued that Neal’s move on Andrew Jordan at McLeans before the safety car was unfair, but the result has since been upheld.
Neal has been given a verbal warning for the incident, a decision which Triple Eight Racing has appealed. The appeal will be heard on the Saturday morning at Thruxton.
Jordan has since responded to the decision on Twitter.
Some how @MattNealRacing keeps the win. Interesting decision……
