Shanghai Tianma Circuit next up for CTCC

The fourth round of the 2014 China Touring Car Championship will be held this weekend at the Shanghai Tianma Circuit.

With the recent victory by Zhang Zhen Dong two weeks ago at the Shanghai International Circuit, Shanghai VW 333 Racing Team reports to be confident of claiming another victory at their home circuit this weekend.

Main rivals Chang’an Ford FRD Team carries less ballast this race weekend compared to the previous, in which Martin Xie fought hard and finished third, and hopes to bring their Ford Focus 1.6Ts to the top fight.

Team Work Motorsport will field a pair of Citroen C-Elysées this weekend while team G-Racing, that missed the previous race, has reserved two entries for their pair of Chevrolet Cruze 1.6Ts.

The race weekend starts with qualifying 15:20 local time on June 7th.
