Heiko Hammel claims first win for Wolf Racing Ford Fiesta

Heiko Hammel claimed victory in the third round of the ADAC Procar Series in Zandvoort, leading from pole position in his Wolf Racing Ford Fiesta to victory, the first for the new Division 1-spec Ford Fiesta 1.6 Turbo.

Hammel won in the Divison 1 class, finishing ahead of Thomas Tekaat’s Division 3 specification MINI John Cooper Works car.

Kai Jordan finished third, also running second in the Divison 3 class for MINI Challenge cars, with Alexander Rambow claiming victory in Division 2 in the 1.6 litre Peugeot 207 Sport of ETH Tuning.

The Division 1 points leader, Mikhail Grachev, is absent this weekend as he’s competing in the FIA European Touring Car Cup at the Slovakiaring, meaning there are no Super 2000 cars taking part this weekened.

The second race takes place at 13:35 CET on Sunday.
