Dacia Dealer Team confirms 2014 STCC programme

Dacie Dealer Team has confirmed it will continue in the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship for the 2014 season.
“We are looking forward to better results, as well as continuing to spread knowledge of Dacia to potential customers,” said Joakim Jöhncke of Dacia Nordic.

Mattias Andersson drove and ran the team in the 2013 STCC, finishing eighth overall with three fifth place finishes as best result.
“We achieved a positive development during the season after a slow start and was fighting for the positions behind the big teams. With a couple of fine top five places, we became the best one-car team of the championship,” said Jöhncke.

Andersson, who drove Alfa Romeo for eight seasons in the STCC until 2011, hopes to reach the podium next year.
“We took a step forward after the summer break and we have, among other things, bettered our selves in qualifying. But we are still missing the real bulls eye, to make it to Q3 or to take a podium finish. Our aim is on that for next year,” said Andersson.
