Triple Eight enters third Holden for Bathurst
Triple Eight Race Engineering has announced that they will enter a third Holden Commodore for the Bathurst 1000 race this year on October 10-13th.
“The entry will be supported by Holden and will run independently from Red Bull Racing Australia,” read the Holden Motorsport release.
Drivers for the car have not yet been announced, while rumours have pointed at Casey Stoner who is currently racing for the team in the Dunlop V8 Supercars development series.
“Further information will be released in due course,” continued the release.
The third car will run alongside the two regular Triple Eight entries of Jamie Whincup and Craig Lowndes.
