Dahlgren ahead of Ekblom in test day two at Knutstorp

Robert Dahlgren remained fastest as the STCC field headed in to their second test day of three at Knutstorp. The Volvo Polestar Performance driver headed manufacturer colleague and TTA champion Fredrik Ekblom, with 0.230 seconds separating the two.

“I am really pleased with the progress so far. It is of course only a test, but we have really started the season in the right way,” said Dahlgren.

BMW Dealer Team WCR driver Richard Göransson broke in to the top three, a mere two hundredths of a second behind Ekblom, with Thed Björk making it three Volvos in the top five in fourth position.

Göransson’s team mate Fredrik Larsson rounded off the top five ahead of Linus Ohlsson and top Citroën driver Jocke Mangs in seventh. 0.052 seconds separated the four drivers in positions four to seven.

Roar Lindland was once again best Saab driver for Team Tidö in eighth position, with Mattias Andersson and Robin Rudholm rounding off the top ten.
