Bamboo continue testing at Pembrey

Bamboo Engineering have been testing at Pembrey as the British independent team’s preparations continue for this year’s WTCC. The team’s drivers James Nash and Alex MacDowall were both driving the team’s Chevrolet Cruze 1.6Ts.

The team were able to test despite the cold conditions at the circuit in southern Wales, and a brief snow-storm. A number of other tests for British-based touring car teams in the UK, specifically in the South East at Brands Hatch, were cancelled due to heavy snowfall overnight.

“We completed an ample programme of tests in some tricky conditions but testament to the team’s commitment, everything went to plan,” said Team Principal Richard Coleman. “Preparations for this year are really starting to come together and we’re approaching this season with a view to being at the front.”
