Video: The return of Nissan to V8 Supercars

The 2013 V8 Supercars season marks the return of Nissan and to celebrate it, the Japanese manufacturer has released a video: “Journey to the Grid”.

The way to their return has been summarised with a recipe from Nissan Motorsport:

1. Visit the Nismo factory in Japan and bring back the biggest V8 engine possible, the same engine that powers the 2013 Nissan Patrol;
2. Add blood, sweat and tears as the chassis and panels are made for the V8 Supercar version of the Nissan Altima, creating a test car for track;
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 four times to create the team;
4. Add four world class drivers (T.Kelly, R.Kelly, M.Caruso and J.Moffat) and sponsors;
5. Serve at Clipsal 500 to begin the 2013 V8 Supercar Championship for the Nissan Motorsport fans to enjoy.
