New livery for Rob Austin at Brands Hatch

Rob Austin’s Audi A4 NGTC is going to feature a new livery for the final race of the 2012 British Touring Car Championship.
“The Audi is already the best looking car on the grid and Wix’s traditional black and yellow livery makes it even sexier,” said Austin to btcc.net.

The season finale is going to be held at Brands Hatch this weekend and Austin hopes to end the season on a high after an eventul previous race at Silverstone.
“I kind of got overshadowed by Mat Jackson and Jason Plato later in the day (at Silverstone) but I thought I did pretty well to go from 17th to fifth in the first race. Unfortunately I didn’t do the car justice in the third race when a win might have been on the cards as I took myself and Dan Welch out of the equation with two rash moves. Dan’s running to a similar tight budget and I felt very bad and I don’t have any problem with the BTCC officials excluding me from the results,” said Austin.

The new livery marks a new sponsorship for Rob Austin Racing in the final race, but team mate Will Bratt will run with the regular white colors.
