Tiago Monteiro tests new Honda Civic at Vallelunga

Tiago Monteiro tested the new Honda Civic S2000 at Vallelunga, Italy, yesterday. The Portuguese driver will take part in the last three rounds of the FIA World Touring Car Championship 2012 season for the Japanese manufacturer, and will be joined by Gabriele Tarquini next season.

Italian website stopandgo.tv reports that JAS Motorsport and Monteiro focused on reliability tests, before starting to work on the setup of the new Honda WTCC challenger.

The former Grand Prix driver will continue to test the car ahead of its debut at Suzuka, and will continue to compete at the next round at the Sonoma Raceway, USA with his SR León before switching over for the final three rounds.
