Niclas Olsson to drive SEAT in STCC

Niclas Olsson is going to drive a naturally aspirated SEAT León in the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship this year.
“It is a good series and a step up for me,” said Olsson to ttela.se.

Olsson has previously raced Porsche Carrera Cup and claimed the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Scandinavia title in 2010. The 21-year-old joins his brother Patrik in the STCC, Patrik who drives for Volkswagen Team Biogas.
“We have never before raced each other, we have tried to avoid it. But it is good to see that he is going to drive full season,” said Patrik Olsson.

Niclas is going to drive an ex-Danielsson Motorsport SEAT León with naturally aspirated engine in the privateers championship of the STCC this year.
“It is going to be tough, they are good. But I am going to do my best and I am also going to try and take as many points as I can in the main class as well,” said Niclas Olsson.
