Tony Hughes shakes down Toyota at Oulton Park

Tony Hughes shook down his Speedworks Motorsport Toyota Avensis at Oulton Park on Tuesday ahead of a more thorough test at Donington Park later this week.

The 54-year-old from Stockport got reacquainted with the Next Generation Touring Car (NGTC)-specification Toyota Avensis at the Cheshire circuit, which he will compete with alongside new team-mate Adam Morgan in his second season in the British Touring Car Championship.

Hughes declared he was “Satisfied with the tweeks that the team had made over the winter, despite not being able to get much heat into the rear tyres due to the track temperature being so low.”
