Holden Racing Team reveal 2012 racing colours

The Holden Racing Team has shown off the livery that it will race in this year’s V8 Supercar championship, with continued backing from Toll and with drivers 2010 champion James Courtney and 2007 champion Garth Tander.

The car will again run in predominantly black and red as it did last season with sponsorship from Australian logistics company Toll and Rockstar Energy drink, with more gold in this year’s colour scheme.

Tander will compete in car No.2 with Courtney racing in the No.22 car, as the team hands over the No.1 plate to 2011 champion Jamie Whincup.

“Peter Hughes and Holden Design have done it again, not only meeting the design brief but exceeding expectations,” said Tander.

“The new look is fantastic – unmistakably HRT, but also bold and intimidating.”

“It also reflects the commitment to realise the results of our hard work and to not just be representatives of HRT, but also contributors to its legacy.”
