David Coulthard confirmed for Race of Champions

Mercedes DTM driver David Coulthard is the latest star-name to be confirmed for the Race of Champions 2011.
“This will be my sixth appearance at the Race Of Champions. It’s a totally unique event and it’s a pleasure to take part,” said Coulthard.

This year’s Race of Champions is going to take place in the ESPRIT arena in Düsseldorf, Germany, on the 3-4 December, the 23rd running of the event.
“Every year there is very exciting racing, and for the fans there’s nothing quite like being able to see the whole track,” said Coulthard.

Coulthard is going to face five other DTM drivers, as well as former Formula One competitors such as Michael Schumacher, Sebastian Vettel and Jenson Button.
“I’ve come pretty close to winning it in the past so I’ll dust off my helmet again and see what happens this time. But win or lose it’s always a bit of fun to end the season,” said Coulthard.
