Video and pictures of the 2012 DTM cars on track

As the 2011 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters finale ended at Hockenheim, the 2012 machines hit the track in the form of the new Audi A5, BMW M3 and Mercedes C-Coupé.

The new machines will replace the current next season as the long-awaited new regulations come in to force in 2012. Audi, BMW and Mercedes will be represented by six cars each, providing a 18-car field.

The new regulations feature less aerodynamics, promising closer racing and cars that are less sensitive for contact.
