Nick Tandy to test for Motorbase Performance

Newly crowned Porsche Carrera Cup Germany champion Nick Tandy is going to test for Motorbase Performance at Brands Hatch on friday.
“I’m excited to drive a new car. I haven’t driven front-wheel-drive since I raced a Mini in about 2004, so it will be like a new experience for me, and driving a turbocharged car too…” said Tandy to Autosport.

The test is according to team principal Dave Bartrum a thank you for Tandy’s impressive results in the two Carrera Cup UK races at Brands and Silverstone, where the Brit claimed three victories and four pole positions.

Tandy is going to drive one of Motorbase Performance’s Ford Focus at Brands, cars which the team has got on sale currently in preparation for a rumoured switch of manufacturer for 2012.
