Stéveny and De Radiguès on pole for race one
Kia Buy Way pairing Philippe Stéveny and Didier de Radiguès have secured pole position at Zolder for race one tomorrow ahead of Stéphane Lémeret and Eduoard Mondron’s Renault Mégane in the Belgian Touring Car Series.
The series leading No.7 Kia Pro_Cee’d’s best lap was 1:35.422, just under three-tenths of a second faster than the No.2 Delehaye Racing Renault of Lémeret/Mondron.
The T3 class ex-WTCC SEAT León of Pierre-Yves Rosoux and Pierre Piron qualified in third, with the No.1 Delahaye Renault of series newcomer Ludovic Sougnez and Christian Kelders in fourth ahead of the Volvo of Vincent Radermecker and Eric van de Poele.
Werner van Herck qualified his Mazda3 in seventh overall, and second of the T3 class runners, with the WRT Volkswagen Scirocco of Ronnie Latinne and Koen Wauters behind him in eighth.
The first race takes place at 11:05 CET tomorrow, with the qualifying for the second race taking place later today.
