STCC secures new four-year TV deal

The Scandinavian Touring Car Championship organisers has secured a new TV-deal with SVT and Canal+, leaving the existing deal with Viasat.
“We have found a good and long term solution with SVT and Canal+ that gives us the possibility to further develop and improve our product,” said Bob Huzell, STCC MD.

The TV setup is going to continue in the current style with a resume program in SVT and live coverage in Canal+.

“Our customers at Canal+ already follow the local championship and events. We are glad to further strengthen this with STCC,” said Johan Kleberg, Canal+ Sweden MD.

The races are going to be broadcasted live in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland with start in 2012 to 2015.
