Gary Paffett leads Brands Hatch warm up

Gary Paffett topped the morning warm up session at Brands Hatch, 0.014 seconds faster than Audi’s title hope Martin Tomczyk.

Timo Scheider followed in second, just 0.010 seconds ahead of Ralf Schumacher.

British Mercedes drivers Jamie Green and David Coulthard occupied places five and six, with Maro Engel being the final driver under one tenth behind the fastest time in seventh.

Bruno Spengler, Mattias Ekström and Christian Vietoris rounded off top ten. The race starts at 15.00 CET.
