Michael Schumacher to test new Mercedes DTM car

Multiple F1 World Champion Michael Schumacher is going to test the new 2012 Mercedes DTM car.
“Michael is full of respect for the DTM drivers. At some point he will definitely test our new DTM coupe for 2012,” said Norbert Haug, Mercedes Motorsport boss to DPA.

Schumacher, who currently races for Mercedes in F1, could even end up racing alongside his brother Ralf in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters.

Haug has confirmed that a DTM drive for Schumacher could be discussed if and when “Michael no longer wants to drive in Formula One.”
