Third Volkswagen for Alexander Graff

Volkswagen Team Biogas.se is going to bring a third car for Alexander Graff in the two races at Gothenburg City Race Arena next weekend.
“I am honored to get this opportunity and it is going to be great to reconnect with Volkswagen. I won the Junior Touring Car Championship in 2008 with a Volkswagen Golf,” said Graff.

The 24-year-old is going to drive alongside regular driver Fredrik Ekblom and Patrik Olsson.
“We have followed Alexander and he is for sure one of the drivers with the conditions to become one of the best in Sweden,” said Team Principal Tommy Kristoffersson.

The Volkswagen drive for Graff is however only for the race in Gothenburg.
“The car is there, Graff was available and we take all chances to improve our opportunities to win the championship. Then of course it is great fun to give a young talent the chance to take part in STCC,” said Kristoffersson.

Graff is going to drive the old specification Volkswagen Scirocco, meaning a different homologation compared to the National S2000 specification for the Scirocco of Ekblom and Olsson. The base weight however is the same, 1170 kilos, and Graff is going to receive maximum penalty weight, +40 kilos, as the car is new to the championship this season.
