Pic special: First official STCC-test of 2011

The Scandinavian Touring Car Championship 2011 field commenced for the first time during the official test at Knutstorp yesterday. Join us for an exclusive picture special from the test day.

18 cars took part in the test of which BMW-man Johan Stureson was fastest. All cars but two were covered within one second during the test day.

The first test also saw the first crash of the year when Fredrik Ekblom went in to the side of Richard Göransson. Ekblom was letting cars past in the final minutes of the test day when he missed Göransson and the both collided, resulted in a dented side of the Volkswagen Scirocco and a broken front suspension of the BMW 320si.

Next up for the STCC is the first race of the year next weekend at Jyllandsringen in Denmark.
