Pics: Shedden’s high-speed crash at Brands Hatch

Photos have now emerged showing Gordon Shedden’s high-speed crash at Paddock Hill bend which put the Honda Civic out of the rest of Saturday’s running.

The Honda Racing Team repaired the car overnight, despite fears the car would not be able to race again, and Shedden was able to pick up sixth, second and fourth place finishes in the day’s three races to leave Brands Hatch fourth in the championship standings.

“Considering the pile of scrap the boys had to work with last night, it’s a miracle they got anything out there for me to race, and to finish in the points is mega,” said Shedden to TouringCarTimes on race day.
