Honda Racing Team unveil new livery
2010 BTCC manufacturers’ champions Honda have unveiled their new livery that Matt Neal and Gordon Shedden will compete with for the 2011 British Touring Car Championship season.
The Honda Civic, which will this year be powered by an all new Next Generation Touring Car (NGTC) turbocharged 2.0 litre Honda engine built by Neil Brown Engines, features increased sponsorship this season by electrical firms Yuasa and Pioneer.
After a troubled two day test last week at Brands Hatch, the Civic had a much better run at the new Snetterton 300 circuit on Tuesday, with two-times BTCC champion Matt Neal setting the overall pace.
Matt Neal will race with car No.2 this season, and although Gordon Shedden is allocated the No.3 as a result of finishing third in the championship last year, is expected to race with his regular No.52 on the Honda Civic.
