Jan Magnussen enters Camaro Cup

Former F1 driver Jan Magnussen is not going to take part in the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship as previously indicated, but rather in the support series Camaro Cup.
“I have a hard time saying no to a race car and as STCC is in somewhat of a transition year, I accepted the offer to drive Camaro for Fukamuni Racing,” said Magnussen.

The Dane is going be team mate with Martin Hansen in the team Fukamuni Racing, a team that fielded Robert Schlünssen in a BMW 320si in the DTC last year.

“It is going to be great fun as I am in the team with my old friends Mikkel and Søren. I am excited to get going,” said Magnussen.

Magnussen is going to miss the second race of the season due to a clashing schedule with his American racing program, also in a Chevrolet, in the Grand American Rolex Series.
