Silverstone National hosts BTCC finale

The national layout of the Silverstone circuit is going to be host for the final British Touring Car Championship race of 2011 on the 16th of october.

The BTCC organizers switched over to Silverstone for the season finale ahead of this season, Brands Hatch has been the host for the finale over the past three seasons.

Autosport reports that the BTCC organizers were initially evaluating to use the new south circuit of Silverstone.
