Holden Racing Team unveil 2011 livery
The Toll Holden Racing Team have unveiled their new livery for the 2011 season for the Commodore VE II cars, which will be driven by Garth Tander & James Courtney.
Carrying car numbers 1 and 2 thanks to new signing in reigning champion James Courtney, the team unveiled their new livery at the teams headquarters in Melbourne.
With Toll still the principle sponsor of the team, the Walkinshaw Performance owned squad also revealed new partnerships with UD Trucks and Rockstar Energy drink.
A new Holden Racing Team logo was also announced at the launch of the car, which features far more black than last years design.
“Last year did not deliver the results the Toll HRT had hoped for, but our car showed good speed at times.” said Garth Tander, who will drive the #2 Toll HRT car this year.
“James is a new team-mate, we don’t yet know each other well and haven’t spent a lot of time together in the past, but we are both competitors and we both know the challenge ahead of us. I know we will work well together and fight to get Toll HRT back to the front.”
“From there we can fight it out as to who will be number one, and who will be number two.”
The car will test at Eastern Creek this weekend ahead of the opening round of the championship on February 11th/12th at Abu Dhabi.
