Priaulx says exclusion makes no difference
Andy Priaulx lost the chance to challenge for the 2010 title after being excluded along with his team mate Augusto Farfus from the races in Japan. But Priaulx say the exclusion makes no difference for his commitment.
“It is a shame we don’t have a championship to fight for in Macau, but that will make no difference to my commitment to go out for two great results,” said Priaulx.
And despite the rather unwelcome end to the season for the BMW-driver, Priaulx describes the season as “amazing”.
“This year has been an amazing one for me. We have been competitive at all the events, and this includes those that are not supposed to be the best ones for our BMW,” said Priaulx.
Priaulx is aiming to fight for the very top in the two final FIA World Touring Car Championship races of the year this weekend at Macau.
“I have won on this track twice before so am going there with high hopes. It has been tough as we have had to fight hard with both Chevrolet and SEAT, but I feel everyone has done us proud. Every member of the team has worked hard and the wins are testimony to this,” said Priaulx.
