Robert Stout wins season finale
2010 World Challenge Touring class champion Robert Stout finished the season in style, taking victory in the final round from sixth on the grid, ahead of reigning champion Pierre Kleinubing.
The new champion finished ahead of the old champion, as Kleinubing made his first return to the series since the final round of 2009, though this time for Mazda at Miller Motorsports Park in Utah.
Robert Stout claimed his fifth win of the season, finishing almost seven seconds ahead of the i-Moto Mazda.
Stout’s season long rival Eric Meyer finished third in his Mazda RX-8.
Pole sitter Taylor Hacquard was running third in his Mazdaspeed3 before receiving a black flag to repair faulty tail lights, which dropped him a lap behind.
Peter Cunningham led from pole in the GTS class to claim his eighth victory of the season in his Acura TSX, the car Kleinubing won the title with last year.
