Ford 1-2 in second practice at Brands

Tom Onslow-Cole put the fastest time at the very end of the second free practice session at Brands Hatch today. The Ford-driver beat his team mate Tom Chilton, who topped the first session, with just 0.079 seconds.

Third fastest was Matt Neal, lapping the track in 1:32.599, close to two tenths slower than Onslow-Cole.

James Nash was fourth fastest, three tenths ahead of Gordon Shedden in the Honda Civic.

The session was red-flagged once due to Andy Neate. The BMW-driver went off at Clearways and had to be towed back to the pits.

Championship leader Jason Plato managed tenth fastest time, close to a second slower than Onslow-Cole.
