Watt hindered by technical mistake

Jason Watt was supposed to have been in the second qualifying session, Q2, ahead of the first Scandinavian Touring Car Cup race at Jyllandsringen but was demoted to 13th.
“I was unfortunately deprived of my best time because my car was a bit too wide – 12 mm. This was because a part had been mounted wrong on the car,” said Watt to dtc-net.dk.

The Danish driver was able to get up to ninth in the first race and a strong fifth in the second race.
“I am fully satisfied with my positions in the races as I started 13th,” said Watt.

Watt is currently fourth in the Danish Touring Car Championship and eight in the Scandinavian Cup.
“I am fourth and eight in two championships despite that the premiere wasn’t optimal for me,” said Watt.
