Tommy Rustad fastest in first qualifying

Tommy Rustad was fastest in the first qualifying session (Q1) ahead of the Swedish Touring Car Championship and Danish Touring Car Championship premiere. Thed Björk was second fastest, just two hundredths of a second behind. And the field was really close, just half a second covered top ten.

Rustad’s team mate Robert Dahlgren was third fastest ahead of BMW-drivers Richard Göransson and Johan Stureson.

Jens Reno Møller was fastest of the Danish drivers in sixth position. The Dane was followed by two fellow Danish drivers Jason Watt and Jan Magnussen.

Mattias Andersson and Fredrik Ekblom rounded off top ten.

The second qualifying session (Q2) kicks off at 12.10 CET tomorrow where top eight battles for the top eight starting positions.
