Ford and Honda quick at Rockingham

During the first practise session this morning the Ford Focus and the Honda Civic, both short wheel based cars, were very quick. In the end, Tom Chilton (Ford) set the fastest time, ahead of Matt Neal (Honda).

In third was the other Ford, driven by Tom Onslow-Cole. He was ahead of the other Honda of Gordon Shedden.

Jason Plato set the fifth fastest time in his Chevrolet Cruze, beating Andrew Jordan with the Vauxhall Vectra in sixth.

James Nash, replacing Fabrizio Giovanardi in the Triple Eight Vectra, ended the session in nineth.
