27 cars for STCC/DTC premiere at Jyllandsringen
There are going to be 27 cars in the combined Swedish Touring Car Championship and Danish Touring Car Championship premiere at Jyllandsringen next weekend.
“This is just the start we want for our co-operation,” said STCC MD Bob Huzell.
“This shows the attraction force there is in the touring car racing of our countries and that we have a good platform to build ahead of next year,” said Huzell.
The plan for the two championships is to completely merge in to a Scandinavian Touring Car Championship while they have started this year with running their respective championships with four races together in a Scandinavian Touring Car Cup.
The list for the Scandinavian Touring Car Cup features 27 cars with drivers from Denmark, England, Norway, Sweden and ten different manufacturers represented: Alfa Romeo, BMW, Chevrolet, Honda, Opel, Peugeot, SEAT, Toyota, Volvo, Volkswagen.
