Team Dynamics reveal new livery at Oulton
2005-2006 champions Team Dynamics have shown off their new Honda Racing livery at Oulton Park at the hands of Matt Neal, as the team continue preparations for the new BTCC season.
The team have yet to confirm their driver line-up, but with limited other rides available, and former VX Racing driver Matt Neal already completing all the testing miles for the Worcestershire based team – it’s not going to surprise when Neal’s officially confirmed.
As yet, the team have not confirmed that they will necessarily be running two cars as they have in recent seasons, though Johnny Herbert has still been linked to return in a a part-time capacity alongside Neal, when there aren’t clashes with his new Italian Superstars duties with Chevrolet.
Honda have not officially supported a team since 2004, since Arena Motorsport had prepared and run the previous shape Civic during a three year programme. That programme ran Matt Neal, along with Alan Morrison, Tom Chilton and eventual World Touring Car champion Andy Priaulx. Despite Honda’s withdrawal at the end of 2004, there has never not been a Honda on the grid since, with Team Dynamics themselves running Honda’s in 2004, after previously running Vauxhalls, and famously the Nissan Primera through the majority of the 90’s super touring era.
Honda’s return to the BTCC will be a great addition to the championship, just as it seemed possible that there was going to be a lack of official manufacturer presence on the BTCC grid this year.
