TouringCarTimes proudly presents v6.0

TouringCarTimes.com proudly presents a completely re-designed platform as the site heads in to its 15th year of existence!
“We are very proud to launch this all new version of the site, marking our 15th year in the business of providing the fastest touring car news on the web,” said Johan Meissner, founder and Chief Editor of TouringCarTimes.com.

Behind the design of the new version is TouringCarTimes Managing Editor Rob Veltman.
“It has been long and hard work, but well worth it! The new version of the site enables us to work more efficiently to provide our visitors with the latest news,” said Veltman.

TouringCarTimes.com continues to focus the coverage specifically on WTCC, BTCC, STCC, DTM but also other series such as V8SC, TC2000, ETCC and more.

There are a couple of news on the site, such as three new sections: European, American and Australian.
“This marks an increase in our coverage of series other than the big four that TouringCarTimes has historically featured. Touring car racing is hugely popular all around the world and our ambition is to extend the span of coverage at the site,” said TouringCarTimes Editor Neil Hudson.

Another new feature of the site, which has been running for a couple of weeks, is the TouringCarTimes Comics. Swedish artist Jüri Kann (www.penhouse.se) is doing the touring car racing themed comics.
“Humor is a big part of our life and this is an excellent way of combining this with the motorsport genre that we love,” said Meissner.

The introduction of an exclusive Touring Car Expert, Duncan Huisman, is another new and important feature for the site.
The flying Dutchman has got a vast experience of touring car racing, having taken a large number of titles and wins in championships such as WTCC, ETCC, DTCC and more.
“I am glad to join the TouringCarTimes team, Touring Car Racing is very close to my heart,” said Huisman.

TouringCarTimes.com currently consists of 11 persons from five different countries: Sweden, the Netherlands, England, Germany and Italy. Read more about us here!
