Perfection Racing aims for ETCC

The Danish Chevrolet team Perfection Racing is aiming to participate in the European Touring Car Championship in 2010 and the new Nordic championship formed by the STCC and DTC.
“We see both of these initiatives as tailored for a national team that wants to expand like we do,” said Michael Klostermann, co-owner of Perfection Racing.

The team, drivers and team champions of DTC 2009, took part in one WTCC race as well, something that gave them a taste of more international racing.

“I am convinced we are able to compete at the highest level, but it is a very, very big step to go from a local series as DTC up to the WTCC,” said Kent Bo Steffensen, co-owner of the team.

As of yet, no drivers has been signed for the coming season, but negotiations are ongoing.

“Several drivers have shown an interest for our team,” said Steffensen.
